THE JOB

We are looking for a hands-on Sales & Partnership Manager with strong execution and organizational skills. This role will take VIU’s wholesale and partner store programme to the next level and help execute brand collaborations.

Start: immediately/by agreement

YOUR TASKS

Wholesale & Retail Partnerships:

  • Refinement & development of VIU’s overall wholesale strategy, incl. business plan, target partners and go to market approach
  • Sales execution & growth in Europe & beyond
    • Acquisition of new wholesale accounts offline (high-end department & concept stores) & online (e.g., farfetch, nap, etc.)
  • Development of existing accounts to deepen VIU’s sales share & retail representation
  • Explore wholesale and partnership opportunities in the US and the Far East
  • Relationship and Account management: connecting VIU with top tier stores and presenting the VIU line during sales season (Paris, etc)
    • Overseeing sales support activities (incl. showroom planning, sales samples, order execution, after sales, etc.)
  • VIU Wholesale Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Alignment of wholesale strategy with VIU overall marketing, product and campaign strategy (incl. seasonal wholesale campaign planning)
  • Executing marketing activities with B2B partners

Brand Collaborations & Partnerships:

  • Further development of Partnership/ Design collaboration strategy, led by the PR team, with focus on execution of the development process and overlook the account management
  • End-2-End Collaboration planning & execution: outreach to partner, signing collaboration agreement, coordination with brand/content & design teams and go-to-market of collaboration campaign

YOUR PROFILE

  • Fashion sales professional: 5+ year professional work experience in sales within the fashion & lifestyle industry (preferably international premium brand in fashion/lifestyle segment)
  • Exceptional relationship builder: National & international relevant and up-to-date network of relevant sales contacts within the fashion industry (Focus Europe – US / Asia a plus) - high end department stores as well as leading concept stores
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive: you are a high energy entrepreneur who has the right mix of strategic mindset and get stuff done mentality
  • Deeply embedded in fashion/lifestyle universe: you know what's hot and the stars of today & tomorrow and have access to a network of fashion & lifestyle brands
  • Team player: you will work with a lot of internal VIU teams to drive projects forward - being an empowering team player is essential
  • Communication skills: excellent command of the English language and German are a must – additional languages such as French are a plus
